Your images stay in your browser
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand visits and tool usage. Image processing remains local.

Selected files, filenames, image pixels, hashes, previews and processing explanations are not sent to Ahrefs or an image-processing server. The Worker processes images on your device. Clearing the batch or closing the page releases image references; downloaded files remain on your device.
Visitor statistics
On watermarklift.com, Ahrefs receives the page path and title, referring page, browser and language information, and screen dimensions. Our page location excludes query strings and fragments. Network requests expose an IP address to the service; Ahrefs states it derives country/city and daily visitor counts, then discards raw IP addresses. Its standard analytics uses no cookies or persistent identifiers.
Ahrefs records pageviews and link clicks, including destination URLs for ordinary links. Local blob downloads are excluded from its automatic link tracking. We do not use session recordings, advertising trackers, user accounts or Google Analytics.
Tool events
We send fixed event names for image import or rejection, processing start, cleaned or unchanged outcomes, processing failure, cancellation, retry, corner inspection, PNG/original/ZIP download initiation, ZIP failure or cancellation, and clearing a batch. These events contain no image-specific properties or user identifiers. Download events mean the browser download was initiated; they do not confirm that the file was saved.
Optional measurement
Statistics start only after analytics is installed; previous visits cannot be reconstructed. Browser privacy settings and blockers may prevent measurement. If analytics is unavailable, local processing and downloads still work. Preview and Pages alias hosts do not send analytics.
